Your Responsibilities:

HR Managment

    • Drafting and publishing job advertisements
    • Conducting application and interview processes
    • Onboarding new employees
    • Drafting of job profiles and job descriptions
    • Promoting a modern, employee-focused corporate culture
    • Developing and implementing measures to boost staff motivation
    • Conducting staff appraisals, performance reviews and reflection and development discussions
    • Contributing to remuneration and incentive schemes in collaboration with senior management
    • Team development and conflict management
    • Promoting a positive working atmosphere
    • Staff planning in collaboration with senior management
    • Selection and supervision of interns
    • Providing professional guidance and support to team leaders
    • Monitoring staff deployment planning in collaboration with senior management
    • Handling employment law matters (such as drafting contracts, issuing warnings, and terminations)

Administrative tasks

    • Managing and maintaining employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files
    • Ensuring accurate administration of employee data, attendance, leave, and payroll-related processes
    • Preparing contracts, employment references, HR documents, and onboarding/offboarding documentation
    • Ensuring compliance with employment law, GDPR regulations, occupational health and safety requirements, and internal policies
    • Coordinating communication with external authorities, insurance providers, and service partners
    • Supporting HR reporting, training documentation, audits, and the continuous improvement of HR processes and administrative systems

Collaboration within the management team

    • Regular communication with senior management
    • Participation in management meetings, discussions and supervision sessions
    • Active involvement in strategic and operational decisions

 

Your Profile:

    • Several years’ professional experience in Human Resources, personnel management or a comparable role
    • Knowledge of Portuguese employment law
    • Experience in staff development, recruitment and team management
    • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
    • An independent, structured and responsible approach to work
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and digital work and communication tools
    • Knowledge of social media and online recruitment
    • Strong interpersonal skills, organisational ability and the ability to work well in a team

Language Skills:

    • Portuguese (very good)
    • English (very good)
    • German (advantage)

Professional Foster Care - Individual Setting

We are looking for professional foster care in the Algarve and Alentejo, who are willing to take a young person (12-18 years old) with behavioural difficulties into their homes.
